PHILADELPHIA, PA—Two reputed members of Aryan Nations remain in jail today following their arrests stemming from the maiming of a reputed member of the Aryan Terror Brigade and associate of Keystone State “Skinheads” that left him blinded with his eyes literally ripped from his skull.

Stephen Masten, 29, and Frank Casiano, 28, appeared in court June 12 for a preliminary hearing on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault burglary and others. They were arrested May 22, just over two weeks after the brutal assault of David Phillips, 43 during a home invasion.

According to police reports, Phillips was home at 5928 Shisler St. when two men he identified as his “Aryan brothers” kicked his front door down and attacked him with sticks and blackjacks in his bedroom. The report notes Casiano reportedly telling Phillips “We’re gonna take all your shit and your CDs” and both suspects reportedly telling him they were going to kill him, to which he replied, “No, you’re dead!”

During the assault, Phillips told police that Masten gouged his eyes out and was later able to rip them from their sockets. He heard Masten tell Casiano, “His eyeballs popped out, I killed that bastard!” Before he passed out, Phillips heard Casiano say, “Good, kill him good!” When he woke the pair were gone and he felt his way around to a neighbor who contacted police. He was later transported to Wills Eye Hospital in downtown Philadelphia. Phillips is now blind and was stabbed in the head and face several times.

According to the report, Phillips told police that Masten was angry that Phillips tried to take his girlfriend to a neo-Nazi event while he was in jail for theft. He was released on parole just two weeks before the assault. A person police identified as “Witness #1” said that both Masten and Casiano, who also goes by the name “Frank Cassidy”, are members of Aryan Nations, but there are several factions using the Aryan Nations name and it is not known which one they may belong to. Phillips was identified as a member of Aryan Terror Brigade (ATB), who’s leader Josh Steever is best known for marrying the niece of the late actor Patrick Swayze. According to the Anti-Defamation League, Steever is soliciting financial support for Phillips on the ATB forums. Phillips is also close to the Keystone State “Skinheads” (KSS), particularly with longtime member Joey Phy, who served a year of house arrest in 2009 for assaulting a neighbor and former friend who asked him to turn his stereo down. In addition to Masten, both Phillips and Casiano have lengthy criminal records.

Masten is being held at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia while Casiano is held at Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center in lieu of $3 million and $1 million bail respectively. Their next preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 10 at the Criminal Justice Center on Filbert St. in Philadelphia.

While KSS is far from the presence they had in Philly as little as 5 years ago, they are still cause for serious concern for Antifascists.  So this comes as welcome news.

Of course boneheads maiming and killing each-other is no new phenomenon. Drunken acts of violence, rumors (true or false) of police informants in their midst, and “love” triangles are some common causes.

Let this be a cautionary tale to you young boneheads who think you have found a sense of community or “brotherhood” among your fellow racists and fascists. You’ll get no pity from us in the streets, and you’ll find no safety among your supposed “white brothers.”

Drop the shit. Grow up.

The Tinley Park Five have a court appearance 9am June 12 at the Bridgeview Courthouse (10220 South 76th Avenue Bridgeview , IL 60455). The white supremacist community is threatening later violence against anyone in attendance as can be seen in this thread from Stormfront. The International Action Center has posted a short article about the court date located here. The Tinley Park Five and their support network hope to gather a large group of people to attend, in order to prevent their friends and family from being targeted by violent fascists.

We realize that many activists in the Chicago area might not be supportive of the tactics the Tinley Park Five are accused of. Keep in mind, they have not been convicted of anything at this time. We ask that you consider attending this court date even if you’re uncomfortable with militant actions as a show of support to their families. We need a large group of people for the families to be able to blend into. If you’re not comfortable showing solidarity with the Tinley Park Five, we ask that you consider attending as a show of solidarity to their families and friends who have never participated in any direct action and just want to be able to see their sons, brothers, and partners without fear of being murdered by fascist thugs.

Those willing to participate in this show of solidarity are asked to seriously consider the potential risks of walking into the cross-hairs of these racist lunatics.

If you are willing to come, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines in order to protect the families and loved ones of the Tinley Park Five as well as to not jeopardize the legal outcome of the case:

• Do not bring cameras.

• Be respectful and cooperative with all law enforcement and court officials
• Do not engage in debate or discussion with any racist elements
• Do not confront or posture against white supremacists at the courthouse. They will be there trying to provoke a response.
• Do not assume that anyone you do not personally know is a supporter. White nationalists do have plans to ‘infiltrate’  their supporters as well as pose as journalists, bloggers, and curious activists
• Do not wear any clothing that shows allegiance to any anti-racist or anti-fascist cause.
• Be aware that the Chicago Tribune and other main-stream media outlets have already jeopardized the safety of Tinley Park Five supporters. They are desperate for any chance to portray the Tinley Park Five and their supporters as crazy fanatics. Don’t give them this ammunition, even though both reporters and white supremacists will be doing their best to bait you into behaving in a militant fashion.
• This is serious business. If you don’t think you’re capable of holding your tongue when hearing Nazis and Klansman call supporters things such as “race-traitors”, “niggers”, “anti-white terrorists”, “mud-babies”, and every other ethnic slur imaginable we ask that you show your support in one of these different ways.

The overwhelming support the Tinley Park Five continue to receive has become a life-altering experience for those of us working on jail support. Thank you for considering to help. Solidarity.

A self-proclaimed Nazi father and his wife cannot have back their four children, three of whom have Nazi-inspired names, a court has ruled.

Adolf Hitler Campbell, six, and his younger sisters Joycelynn Aryan Nation, five, and Honszlynn Hinler, four, were taken into custody in January 2009.

State officials also took another son, Hons Campbell, from his parents Heath and Deborah Campbell just hours after he was born in November.

A New Jersey Supreme Court judge has now ruled that the four children will not be returned to their parents, who have since separated.

The Nazi-inspired names came to light after a store refused to decorate a birthday cake reading ‘Happy birthday Adolf Hitler’ in December 2008.

In 2010, a New Jersey appeals court ruled that there was sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect due to prior domestic violence to seize the children.

Authorities insisted that putting the children into care had nothing to do with their names.

But Heath Campbell said that the court’s decision was not down to their quality of life, and was based purely on the names they chose for the children.

“Our kids weren’t taken because of abuse. I’m honest about who I am and what I am.”

“If I have to give up my Nazism, then so be it. I’ll do it.’ The children are ‘more my heart and soul and everything than anything’,” he said.

Campbell, who has a swastika tattoo on his neck, last saw the children a year ago. He is now separated from his wife, who moved out of the state.

Kristine Brown, from the state Division of Youth and Family Services, said that she was unable to comment on the case due to confidentiality laws.

But she said that “every call or investigation that DYFS initiates at the end of the day is to determine if the child is at risk or in the midst of child abuse and neglect.”

Court records previously showed both parents had themselves been victims of childhood abuse and were suffering from unspecified physical and psychological disabilities.

Court records also show that the oldest child, Adolf, frequently threatened to kill people.

The mother reportedly had also once given a note to her neighbour saying that she was terrified of her husband, who had threatened to kill her.

The Campbells have previously defended the names, saying they chose them simply because they liked them and they were unique.

Campbell said that he named his son after the Nazi leader, as ‘no one else in the world would have that name’.

It is worth mentioning that the Campbell’s originally denied any Nazism and appeared to be just incredible stupid people.

This proved not to be the case, though, after they were found to be members of the National Socialist Movement (NSM), the largest (and shrinking) Neo-Nazi organization in the country.

When Deborah Campbell gave birth to her most recent child, Child Services were on hand to take custody of it immediately, and who turned up to protest? A handful of NSM boneheads.

Philly Antifa does not support the state in any capacity, and feels it pertinent to say that Child Services does far more harm than good. That said, these children have a far better chance of growing up to be happy adults without having such stupid, abusive, bigoted people in their lives.

Steve Smith, Pictured with convicted murderer Charles Marovskis in 2007. Marovskis would later be arrested and plead guilty to two federal charges of second-degree murder in connection with the 1998 beating death of two Florida homeless men.

According to a post and picture from Stormfront.org, the largest White Power message board in the world, Steve Smith has been elected to a 4-year term in the republican county committee for Pittston City Ward 4.

Smith has at various times in his life been a member of the KKK, Aryan Nations, Keystone State Skinheads, EURO and NAAWP (both started by David Duke, an obvious influence on Smith in recent years) and several other Neo-Nazi and White Nationalist groups.

Smith once served 30 days for Ethnic intimidation related to an attack by himself, Keith Carney and Steve Monteforte on a lone black man coming home from work in the early AM, reportedly asking him if he had ever “been beaten up by skinheads.”

Since getting out of jail, Smith has modeled himself after Duke and other suit-and-tie Nazis, attending public forums and trying to put a gentle, family-friendly face on virulent racist, xenophobic politics.

This election is eerily reminiscent of that of JT Ready, another wannaba-politician Neo-Nazi who was once elected to a local government position in Arizona. The main difference is that he was not known to be a Nazi before he had already been elected. As you all probably know, JT Ready murdered 4 people, including an infant child, before committing suicide earlier this month in Arizona.

This story is still unfolding, but here’s what we know:

The 5th Annual “White Nationalist Economic Summit” was attacked this afternoon in a daring daylight raid by 20-30 Antifascists on a Tinley Park, IL restaurant. The summit had been in the works secretly for 6 months, during most of which it was known to Antifascists in the area due to a nazi snitch.

In attendance at the event were several members of the Illinois National Socialist Movement (NSM), which has been having a banner 13 months, including two major defeats, the death of two high-profile members, the leaking of their entire membership list, and various other embarrassments. Also in  attendance were several members of the Council of Conservative Citizens, a “suit and tie nazi” organization that specializes in race-baiting prominent news stories and glorifying the confederacy.

10 people were injured in the attack. 9 of them appear to be attendees (out of a total of around 20), with the final person injured being the manager of the restaurant, who had attempted to restrain an Antifascist for arrest and was treated to a beating as a result.

Several nazis were hospitalized. There are no reports of injured Antifascists. The police detained a car with several people in it, but it is unknown if they were involved in the altercation or just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Foreign Object, a band associated with the Atlantic City “Skinheads”, get a little comeuppance in Trenton. New Jersey definitely has a nasty habit of doing this to Nazis, does it not?

TRENTON, NJ—When the iconic punk band DRI performed at a club in town that they have often performed, they did not know it was with a local band opening with ties to the largest and most violent neo-Nazi crew in the state. And the person who booked them at the club did not know until it was too late. But when Foreign Object started playing Skrewdriver covers, it became immediately apparent what this band was about. That was what precipitated a brawl that reportedly resulted in the band being beaten down and thrown out of the club.

According to reports, patrons to the club showed their displeasure with the band’s choice of music by confronting the members after their set. Random reports have been circulated of the drummer getting the recipient of much of the blows and band members attempting to run angry patrons down with their truck as they tried to escape.

Foreign Object is an Atlantic City-based band who counts among the band members lead singer Jack Warren, and guitarist Kenny Souder. Both are longtime associates of the Atlantic City “Skinheads” (ACS). Warren also plays with the band Hard Way while Souder also plays in the neo-Nazi band Chaos 88 with fellow ACS associate Warren Meickle, formerly of the white power band Aggravated Assault.  Chaos 88 has recently played a show for the Confederate Hammerskins and in September plans to play a show for the Keystone State “Skinheads” in Pennsylvania

ACS has been in the news lately due to its founder and leader Bryan Bradley being struck and killed by lightning in September. Last month, Bradley’s fellow union members and state senators paid tribute to him at an Atlantic City, NJ monument to workers who lost their lives on the job, many of them not aware of his life as the leader of a hate group for 25 years.

While DRI has not as of yet made any statement in regards to the brawl and Foreign Object’s ties to ACS, the Houston-based band has a long history against racism, including performing at shows put on by the John Brown Anti-Klan Committee. It is not known who was involved in the brawl or the extent of injuries sustained.

Oh Haiiiii…
